The legendary Deep Purple toured Ukraine on October 28-30, 2004. The general sponsor of the concert tour for Deep Purple was Nemiroff, widely known by its support for the most significant phenomena of modern world culture. Deep Purple, which was founded by five English lads, namely, John Lord (piano), Ritсhie Blackmore (guitar), Ian Paice (percussion), Rod Evans (vocals) and Nick Simper (bass)), entered the world history of music among the progenitors of hard rock, having enriched the golden font of world rock music with its albums, which are selling multi-million copies even today. Ukrainian fans of this rock group saw it in its present composition - Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse, Don Airey. And the popularity of a group nearer to retirement age, which recorded more than 40 albums, has remained unchanged, as well as the virtuosity of the most talented musicians of their time.
