International Journalistic Goldn Fern Contest from Ukrainian vodka company Nemiroff
Second International festival of bartender art, "Freestyle".
Nemiroff was the official partner for the Second International Festival of Bartender Art, "Freestyle", which was held on July 30-31, 2004 on the central open terrace of Yalta's seaside. The high professional status of the festival was confirmed by the IBA (International Bartender Association), which is the most authoritative bartender organization, represented in the largest number of countries in the world.
This year 14 bartenders' teams from different cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhya, Simferopol, Yalta) and Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar), as well as from Moldova took part in the contest. The participants performed in the category "Set Flair", where the judges evaluate a team's skills in mixing innovative cocktails in working and show-flairing styles (taking into account the scenario, costumes, music and, of course, the taste qualities of the cocktails).
Within such a professional format, the "Freestyle" festival is the only one in the entire post-Soviet space. The main prize of the second "Freestyle" festival was presented to the team of the Crimean Association of Bartenders. In a separate nomination, "Best Nemiroff cocktail", Moscow natives Alexander Rodoman and Ilya Felikidi confidently won the victory (in this nomination the participants presented an innovative cocktail on the basis of Nemiroff vodka brands). The cocktail winner, "Nemiroffusion", was created based on the vodka "Nemiroff Lex".
The festival was held outdoors and caused a real rush of spectators, who numbered more than 10,000 during the two days of the "Freestyle-II" festival.
